BarrierPaste was designed to be an especially robust product:
- Suitable for thick cryosections – resulting in very wide and hydrophobic lines.
- Insensitive to detergents and Formaline/PFA.
- Dries rapidly – iwithin 60 seconds in the open air
- A 10ml bulk volume – covring groughly 450 slides.
- Withstands very long incubation times – with fixatives, detergents, and other reagents.
- Color coded – in six colors for you to choose – but It can also be supplied as a clear solution or in a color of your own choice.
- Has a long shelflife – of 18 months.
